  • Booth Packages

    • Inline Booth Space (1-4 booths): Each standard inline 10'x10' booth includes (no substitutions or exchanges allowed):
      • Sage Green Pipe & Drape - 8' Back Wall and 3' Side Rail
      • (1) White Skirted Table - 8' (W) x 24" (D) x 30" (H)
      • (2) Stackable Chairs
      • (1) Wastebasket
      • (1) 7" x 44" Company ID Sign per Exhibitor.
    • Island Booth Space (4 Booths): Exhibitors with four (4) booths purchased in a 20'x20' island configuration will not automatically receive any furnishings. To receive your allotted 8' skirted tables and chairs please complete the Table Request Form and email to exhibitorcs@allured.com.
    • Bulk Island Booth Space (6+ Booths): Exhibitors with six (6) or more booths purchased as raw space at the bulk space rate do not receive any furnishings.
  • Exhbitor Listing Online Promotions:

    • All exhibitors receive 1 Product listing, 1 Show Special and 2 Press Releases.
    • Please update your listing and upload an image to be included in the Product Gallery.
    • Upgrades for additional promotion items are available for purchase through your Exhibitor Resource Center.
  • Attendee Lead Retrieval:

    • All Exhibitors receive 1 complimentary lead retrieval mobile app license to scan attendee badges when they visit your booth so you can follow up with them after the show!
  • Yes - all booths are required to have floor covering for their entire booth space.
  • Carpet/flooring can be provided by the Exhibitor or rented through the General Service Contractor.
  • Rental information will be available in the Exhibitor Services Manual available in Spring 2020.
Yes. As indicated on the 2020 FBNC Rules & Regulations – prior to taking possession of booth space on show site, exhibitors must submit proof of required insurance coverage. Information will be available Spring 2020.
  1. 25% of Total Due:  8/1/2019
  2. 50% of Total Due:  5/15/2020
  3. 100% of Total Due:  9/12/2020

REFUND POLICY: Exhibitors canceling up to and including the 90th day prior to installation day may receive 50% of deposited fees as refund. Because contracts are legal and binding documents, all requests for refunds must be made in writing by the person whose name appears on the contract (or, in the case of a change in employment status, by an authorized agent of the Exhibiting Company). As of the 89th day prior to installation day, Exhibitors canceling will receive no refund.

How are your booth materials getting to San Jose?

1. I am DRIVING my booth materials directly to the McEnery Convention Center

Hand-Carry Guidelines | POV Service

Hand-carry is permitted for ONE trip per person, using ONLY a lightweight 2-wheel luggage cart holding up to 30 pounds.

  • Hand-trucks/dollies (2 or 4-wheels) are NOT permitted.
  • Hand-carry is permitted ONLY through the front entrance to the expo hall (ONE trip per person).
  • Hand-carry is NOT permitted through the loading dock at the back of the hall.
  • Hotel personnel are prohibited from delivering materials to exhibit booths on luggage carts.

Hand-carry rules apply to any and all entrances/exits of the McEnery Convention Center for loading and unloading of materials.

Exhibitors who violate the rules and regulations as set forth by the Teamsters Union Local 85 will be stopped and POV Service will be required and billed to exhibitor accordingly. POV Service information will be available in the Exhibitor Services Manual.

What is a POV? A Personally Operated Vehicle, or a ‘Small Vehicle’, is considered to be any vehicle that is primarily designated to transport passengers, not cargo or freight. Examples include cars, small vans, ½ ton pick-ups, etc. NO trucks (1 ton or over), rental trucks, trailers or bobtail (straight trucks).

  • Must be a personal owned vehicle
  • Collectively booth materials cannot weigh more than 400 lbs
  • Individual pieces cannot weigh more than 50lbs
  • Maximum of two (2) loads per vehicle
  • “Product Rate” is not available through POV Service

All POV’s will be unloaded onto a pallet and weighed for a safe and efficient delivery to your booth. NO EXCEPTIONS. Contents of each pallet can weigh up to 200lbs (pallet weight not included). Anything over 200lbs, but less than 400lbs, will be charged two loads.

American Exposition Services has made POV load services available for hire, one (1) laborer with one (1) round-trip delivery (maximum of 2) from the POV to your booth and your booth to the POV. Price information will be available in the Exhibitor Services Manual.


 

2. I am SHIPPING my booth materials to the AES Advance Warehouse or directly to the McEnery Convention Center

Advance Warehouse Material Handling | Direct-to-Show Material Handling | Product-Only Material Handling

Shipping to the advanced warehouse is the preferred delivery option to ensure your shipment is waiting at your booth when you arrive.

  • Service includes storing and delivering your freight to your booth, storing empty containers during the show and loading your outbound freight.
  • Only material that can be unloaded without additional handling required - skidded or in shipping containers - will be accepted at the warehouse. Uncrated or loose shipments will be refused at the warehouse.
  • CERTIFIED WEIGHT TICKETS AND A BILL OF LADING ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL SHIPMENTS.
  • Face & Body advance warehouse shipping labels (to use in addition to your carrier’s labels) will be provided in the Exhibitor Services Manual.
  • Shipments received after the deadline provided in the Exhibitor Services Manual will incur a 30% surcharge for “late delivery”.
  • Warehouse receiving hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Closed Holidays.

Booth shipments should arrive during exhibitor move-in hours only – if you prefer your shipment to be at your booth upon your arrival, please ship to the advanced warehouse (see previous section).

  • Service includes delivering your freight to your booth, storing empty containers during the show and loading your outbound freight.
  • CERTIFIED WEIGHT TICKETS AND A BILL OF LADING ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL SHIPMENTS.
  • Face & Body direct-to-show shipping labels (to use in addition to your carrier’s labels) will be provided in the Exhibitor Services Manual.

Save money with product-only material handling! Product-only shipments are shipments that weigh less when exhibitors move out of the show than when they moved in because of product sales during the show.

  1. Only direct-to-show shipment’s will be accepted.
  2. Shipment must arrive crated or palletized. Loose and/or uncrated shipments do not meet product-only requirements.
  3. Each piece of your shipment MUST have a PRODUCT ONLY label.
  4. NO display items or exhibit materials qualify.
  5. Exhibitor MUST REQUEST a reweigh during the show with AES*
  6. POV loads do NOT qualify for product-only rates.

*Please Note: Exhibitors may request a “Product Only” reweigh anytime during the show. The AES service desk will keep a running list of exhibitors who have requested a reweigh. The exhibitor must check back in for the reweigh at the end of the show, once their freight is ready to be lifted by a forklift and reweighed. “Product Only” reweighs will be dealt with on a first come, first serve basis.

Reweighs will not be available until all empty containers have been returned, labor jobs have been completed and a forklift is on hand to complete the request.

If the criteria above are not followed, the regular drayage (material handling) rates will be assessed and there will be NO REFUNDS.
